History It all began in 1992 when I was only 12 years old. I had always been interested in technology and mechanical stuff and began to take an interest in Hi-Fi. One evening, I found a magazine from a Danish retail chain, Hi-Fi Klubben and began reading it. The next thing I remember is my alarm clock going off. It was time to get up and go to school and I hadn’t slept at all!
That was the first in a chain of events leading up to today and the very first product under my own brand.
When I was 13, I bought my first Hi-Fi system for 3,000 Euros I somehow managed to save up. And from that day, I have tried all the interesting Hi-Fi equipment I could lay my hands on.
In 1997, I started working at Thule Audio and obtained my technical training. Although Thule specialises in electronic components, my passion has always been loudspeakers. I began doing my own DIY speaker designs, aided by access to high quality Audio Precision measuring equipment.
My passion for speakers took me to Avance International and GamuT Audio. After a while, Lars Goller, former technical director of DST (the merger of Vifa, Peerless and Scan Speak) joined GamuT in a business partnership with Poul Rossing.
Now this was heaven: working in speaker engineering with the man behind the Scan Speak drivers. Scan Speak had always been the ones I loved most for their advanced designs.
But life goes on. As a super perfectionist, I wanted more. After seeing and hearing what others had to offer at the 2005 Las Vegas Consumer Electronics Show, I decided I was ready to do it myself.

Neeper Acoustics Is Born I said goodbye to GamuT and created Neeper Acoustics with one simple goal - to make a more complete speaker than anyone else in the world.
Complete in terms of design, materials and, of course, performance!
The actual inspiration came from another field entirely. One day, I drove past the Danish Jaguar & Aston Martin distributor who had just received the new "baby" Aston, the V8 Vantage. As I passed by, I couldn’t get it out of my head and half way home, I turned around, drove back and admired it for half an hour. It was clear to me - this is what I want to do in the Hi-Fi world.
It is not speed, size or even the driving experience that defines a car as "the best" in the world. It is an intangible combination of design, materials and, of course, performance that makes it desirable above all others, that makes it a "must-have" product!
Yes, wanting to make the most complete product in the industry in my very first attempt is a lofty goal. And I have to admit, it wasn’t easy!
At GamuT, I had taught myself to use a 3D design program to transform my ideas into real objects. Many designs were tried out, including an initial design for what was to become Perfection One. But as my old boss made it clear, "That will be too difficult to develop, too expensive to develop, and way too expensive to produce."
Well, it turns out he was correct about everything. But nonetheless, the product is now reality!
More Neeper Acoustics products will follow the Perfection One. Larger, smaller, centre speakers and subwoofers, but as they have to live up to the same ultimate quality standards as the first model, it may take some time.
